NEW STUFF!

Just picked up a fabulous Stanley dining room! If you are looking for walnut, this set is gorgeous.  Selling by the piece but will discount if you want to build a room.

Gorgeous china hutch! All one piece with 2 sliding glass doors. 

I also have the dining table, one leaf and 4 chairs. One table leg needs repair so I have not photographed yet.  Condition on all pieces A+.  

Hey Heywood!  Love this cute 4 drawer Encore dresser.  It has been refinished to walnut but the finish is excellent.  Sure it can be stripped and saved, but it really is in good shape to use.  If you like your Hey Wake dark, this one is for you!  I will be listing this weekend I hope....still in my vanagon with all this crap weather! 

Fantastic Bertoia Barstool by Knoll.  This is early and comes with vinyl seat pad in brown. Very good condition with only one broken weld on left edge.  New floor glides too.  Accept no substitutes! The real deal is built to last. Black Rislan finish.  It’s listed on Etsy and chairish.  Bus shipping available or regional delivery.

A few new items. Fresh upholstered goods landing later in the week. Holiday countdown.

Greetings! I had a busy week which included seeing my Heywood Dining Set off to it’s new home in the Boston area. Happy my friend could join me on the trip and we had a fun gal day trekking through New England and back. Always thankful to my friends who accompany me on big trips.  

This week I was able to snag a few pretties that are not officially listed yet.  Please directly contact me if you want to snag them.  I will offer a direct price if we cut out the middle men like Etsy and PayPal.  JUST IN! A gorgeous pair of Lane mini cedar chests that hold albums! They are so cute! Feature an upholstered bench seat top, castors and cedar lined interior.  I am in the process of redoing the upholstery as the original vinyl had some issues.  That said, one is already spoken for.  The available unit will be $300 restored.  I can shave a little off if you do cash and local meet or pick up.  I can probably ship Fed ex and for sure Greyhound if price is better.  

there is only one set of tags and going with the sold unit but you will get keys, the old locks (lane recall on the original locks has been in effect since the 70s.  This prior owner worked for the newspaper and I can tell he took it seriously as his own label at the lock notes he swapped them in 1974.

That 80s recover has been removed and the original black vinyl has cracks and issues around the edges.  I will be sewing a replacement in cream tweed.  There are castors on the bottom and it wheels around nicely.

This fabric will look great with the warm wood!

Also New is a gorgeous Lane end table! The wood is so pretty with a warm teak or medium walnut glow.  I have not listed it yet as I am trying to identify what line it goes with. It is stunning!!!!

Look at that joinery! It’s as sexy as the Danish chairs! Seriously this would be awesome between them!

Next I dropped off my latest restorations with the upholsterer yesterday.  He was slow so it worked out great that I can help him out! They should be done by the end of the week!  

She started tearing apart the France and Son Sigvard Bernadotte Chairs while I was still there.  They are now fully rebuilt and I chose the oatmeal tweed for the job. Available in my Etsy shop, coming soon to my chairish shop.

Credenza refinish, Black Friday/Small Biz Sat

I am in the final week of my tax prep class and so excited to finish up!  I have a final next Monday which I need to score 80 or better on. 🙏🏻 Hopefully this will open me up for some hours next spring.  I love what I do here but it does not pay my bills.  🤷‍♂️ So until that happens I have to keep working a plan B. Meanwhile, I am thinking about Black Friday and Small Biz Saturday.  I will have some great stocking stuffers from Primitives by Kathy out at my retail space priced to move. I am doing $6 ea and pick 4 for $20.  These are new gifts from my wholesaler in packaging with tags, etc.  they retail for double this price so come shop with me!  I hope to spend some time hanging out at the mall too.  Please come take a look at the Broyhill set if you are looking for a mid mod dining room. I just redid the top of the credenza too.  I am not so sure I can squeeze that in but I left a flier on the table about it.  Here are some pics 

Very pleased with the color match!  I am priced well under retail on this collectible Broyhill set. I would love to find it a home for the holidays!

Just split up this chair set by selling off 2 of the black chairs.  I am now offering in sets of 2, black or natural finish.  If you want all 4 I will split shipping.  These can go Greyhound 2 per box.  

Another interesting item available is this great antique chest.  My son used it as a toy chest and we made some modifications including fixed hinges that keep the top open all the time, plastic trim over the metal edge. The lock is broken so no chance of locking a tiny person inside and we are leaving a mat in the bottom.  Great toy storage for a waiting room or play room. The paint is durable and was redone before we bought it 13 years ago or so.  It is a neat piece and needs a new home.
