In Between Days.
/Yes, I know, I sound like a Cure song. :) I'm a huge 80's fan, by the way! I have had a couple of projects blow out the door at lightning speed- the Dunbar Chairs, the Eero Saarinen chairs and a Plycraft lounger and ottoman set that is being delivered this Saturday! Thank you to those who welcomed them into your home! I started sanding the adjustable slat bench but have a lot of hand sanding of those drat slats to go. It's already stripped but still a lot of work to clean up. If this is a bad job, it may be the only slat bench I attempt! It is very cute, though, and I plan on teak oiling it.
With the above said, you are more than welcome to message me while I am working on something and I will hold it for you, without ever advertising it. Keep your eyes peeled for my in process posts and on instagram and facebook, where I post updates quickly. I am in buying mode right now and especially so since this time of the year I like to nest projects for the winter months. I will be looking to make a road trip to acquire some more things from my friends up north who have a lovely collection of items that need restoration. I have not been to their shop since end of March, so now is the time to get up there before our busy fall camping season gets into swing. My kids start school next Tuesday! I cannot believe it.
Please check out some new and renewed listings in the etsy shop including this UBER FAB, NEW IN BOX Knoll Petal End Table by Richards Schultz. It's petit and perfect for small spaces...decks, patios and apartments. It is powder coated steel with plastic petals and made for indoor/outdoor use. It will be shipped in it's original box. A very cool find and I can tell you, working mere miles from the Knoll plant, that stuff is not easy to come by in these parts! Even searching the web I have found none for sale. Jump on it while you can! $700 includes shipping UPS, retails for just under $1000. It's a total work of art!
